NEW Bon & Viv Spiked Seltzer Now Available

January 14, 2019 by Allison Reps

BON & VIV Spiked Seltzer has 0 grams of sugar, only 90 calories, and is gluten free. Cheers!

Nick Shields knows beverages.

Nick’s first job after college was managing production for Nantucket Nectars, a thriving, upstart juice company in Boston, and continued that entrepreneurial experience with winemaking at Wolffer Estate on Long Island. He went on to study food science at Cornell University, fermentation science at UC Davis, and even developed products for beverage titans Pepsi and Cadbury Schweppes. Nick’s great-great-grandfather, Rudolph Haffenreffer, founded Boston’s Haffenreffer Brewery in 1870. As a 5th-generation brewer, Nick always knew he would eventually return to the family business of brewing. His goal? To create a new kind of beverage by combining disciplines of brewing, winemaking, and natural flavors. After refining nearly 100 batches, Spiked Seltzer was born. Now known as BON & VIV™ Spiked Seltzer.

Anheuser-Busch Announces New Watershed Partnership with The Nature Conservancy

January 9, 2019 by Allison Reps

ST. LOUIS, MO – December 29, 2018 –
Anheuser-Busch today announced that it is partnering with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to improve water quality, enhance the health of river basins, and help meet the water needs of a number of its local communities. More details of the projects — which are part of a larger global partnership with TNC announced earlier this yearby the brewer’s parent company, AB InBev — will be shared in 2019.

“As the nation’s leading brewer, our company is committed to a cleaner and more sustainable world – and water conservation is crucial to that commitment,” said Adam Warrington, Vice President, Better World at Anheuser-Busch. “The Nature Conservancy has been working tirelessly in the U.S. and around the world to help ensure a water-secure future. Through this U.S. partnership, we look forward to creating practical solutions to help protect our watersheds.”

The new partnership supports Anheuser-Busch’s U.S. 2025 Sustainability Goals, announced in April this year. As part of the Water Stewardship goal, Anheuser-Busch plans for 100% of its facilities to be engaged in water efficiency efforts, and to ensure that 100% of communities in high-stress areas have measurably improved water availability and quality.

Anheuser-Busch Sending Six Truckloads of Emergency Drinking Water to California for Wildfire Relief

November 16, 2018 by Allison Reps

At the request of the American Red Cross, Anheuser-Busch is sending six truckloads – more than 300,000 cans – of emergency drinking water to communities in California affected by the recent wildfires.

Two truckloads were delivered to Anheuser-Busch wholesaler partners Markstein Beverage Co. in Sacramento on Monday night. Four additional truckloads will be delivered on Tuesday afternoon to Pacific Beverage Co. (Oxnard, CA) and Anheuser-Busch Sales of LA (Sylmar, CA) who will work with their local chapters of the American Red Cross to distribute the emergency drinking water to those affected by the wildfires.

As always, employee well-being is the primary concern. Anheuser-Busch is working closely with its teams across the state to ensure the safety of employees and continues to closely monitor the situation.

This donation will be transported from Anheuser-Busch’s Fort Collins, Colorado brewery, which joined the emergency water program in September, to enable the brewer to support communities in need from coast to coast more quickly.

For over 30 years, Anheuser-Busch has partnered with the American Red Cross to provide emergency drinking water for disaster relief efforts. Since 1988, Anheuser-Busch and its wholesaler partners have provided more than 80 million cans of water to U.S. communities affected by natural disasters nationwide.
